MANDSAUR (MADHYA PRADESH): Mandsaur district judge and NGO Project Mission Mukti Program reached the village of Banchara community and distributed 2-month rations and medicine kits to the families of women engaged in prostitution, recently.
District judge Vijay Kumar Pandey, additional district judge Raees Khan, chief judicial magistrate Ashish Pratap Singh, Project Mission Mukti coordinator Akash Chouhan, advocate Laxman Singh Bhati, Social Worker Ravindra Patidar, Vishwajit Singh Bhati and Nahargarh TI Girish Jejulkar were part of the drive.
Needy families of 28 communities identified by the NGO which included village Neerdhari, Palia Maru and Kolva benefitted from the drive.
Pandey said, “Only education can emancipate the ones hurt by social evils.”
He said, “We have run programs for people’s welfare through the District Legal Services Authority”.
Additional district judge Raees Khan said, “Everyone should follow the Covid guidelines, we have lost many people due to pandemic and will continue to help people when needed.”
He also appealed to the people to get vaccinated.
