RATLAM (MADHYA PRADESH): New guideline has been fixed for the admission and treatment of the Covid-19 patients in Ratlam district of Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr Prabhakar Nanaware said that henceforth in the district only four facilities among private hospitals having more than 30 beds will be entitled to admit and treat the patients.
These hospitals are: CHL Jain Diwakar Hospital, Ratlam Hospital, Pundit Shivshaktilal Sharma Hospital Banjali and Ma Gayatri Hospital.
CMHO said that actions will be taken against hospitals which will flout new norms.
During an online meet of Crisis Management Committee, the district Covid-19 in-charge minister Jagdish Devda directed that 100 per cent vaccination should be the priority of district administration.
Collector Kumar Purshottam accepted that pace of vaccination is slow in the Sailana, Bajna and Taal areas of the district as compared to the Ratlam city. He said that in Ratlam city about 2\3 of the people above 45 has been vaccinated. For other areas micro planning is underway to speed up vaccination, he added.
MP Sudhir Gupta, MLA Chetanya Kashyap, MLA Dr Rajendra Pandey, MLA Dilip Makwana also gave suggestions for increasing vaccination.
Sunday Curfew, Night Curfew
Collector issued new directives under Section 144 in the district. Accordingly, till further notice, Sunday Curfew will be imposed from 8 PM of Saturday to 6 AM of Monday. While night curfew will be imposed from 8 PM to 6AM in the district.
Ratlam city MLA Chetanya Kashyap said that positivity rate is down to less than 1% in the district and therefore all shops have started functioning in the city from today ending the left and right system of opening the shops existed till Wednesday. He informed that work of 60-bed ICU for children is underway to come up at MCH hospital.
