Madhya Pradesh: Muni Prateek Sagar Maharaj of Jaora calls for equality in society

Jaora: A religious programme of Jain Community held recently in which Muni Prateek Sagar Maharaj called for steps to create a just and equal society.

Addressing the gathering he said, "Organisation is necessary in the society, for that every person of the society must have a sense of co-ordination. Banks should be launched across the country, which can give money without interest to the weaker section to make it self-reliant. When there is equality in the society, no one will be seen as big or small or rich or poor."

Humad Digambar Jain Samaj president Ritesh Jain said a programme of religious discourse was organised on Tuesday.

Old age homes a slap on face of society

There should be no old age home in the country. Building old age home is like a slap on the face of Indian culture. The youth of the country will have to understand their duty and have to follow the religion of service of old parents. Because later you too will reach the same stage and your children will send you to old age home, said Maharaji.
