Mandsaur: The RTPCR lab commissioned on the premises of District Hospital Mandsaur has received approval to conduct Covid test.

The second wave of the corona epidemic has subsided and amid possibility of third wave, preparations are on to augment health services in Mandsaur.

Over 50 lakh: Rs 35 lakh from MLA fund sanctioned by MLA Yashpal Singh Sisodia and Rs 15 donated by industrialist Pradeep Ganediwal has been spent to set up the lab. After necessary checks, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, AIIMS Bhopal gave a nod to start work from Friday.

During first and second wave of pandemic, due to lack of RTPCR lab for corona test in Mandsaur, samples had to be sent to Ratlam among other places for testing. Now the test reports will be provided in a day.
