Madhya Pradesh: Man beats wife to death

Man casted doubt on her fidelity and she suffered serious injuries on her head and legs.

Gandhwani (Madhya Pradesh): Irked over the alleged infidelity of his wife, a man thrashed her to death at Bhuwada Village in Dhar district on Sunday. The incident occurred in Jirabad outpost of Gandhwani Police Station limit.

According to the information, victim Ram Kunwar Bai was beaten to death by her husband, identified as Sagar Singh. He casted doubt on her fidelity and she suffered serious injuries on her head and legs.

The matter came to the fore when the neighbourers heard victim’s wail for help and immediately called for 108 ambulances, from where she was brought to Community Health Center, and declared dead on the arrival by the doctors.

The senior police official said that cases have been registered against the accused Singh under various sections of the Indian Penal Code. The body of woman has been handed over to the relatives after the post-mortem was carried out at Gandhwani Hospital.
