Ratlam: Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, our country successfully developed an indigenous Covid-19 vaccine during the shortest duration while there was a time when vaccines were to be imported.
Rajya sabha member and BJP leader Jyotiraditya Scindia here said that another record has been created in vaccinating the people as so far more than 36 crore doses have been given which is highest in the world. Scindia was speaking in a programme organised by Ratlam city MLA Chetanya Kashyap to welcome him at his office.
Scindia also appreciated contribution of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan tackling the Covid-19 pandemic. He said that CMís team made best possible arrangements for oxygen, injections etc.
He said had there been Kamalnath led Congress government during Covid pandemic one can imagine what could have been the situation in MP? Priorities of Congress led government were different and Scindia alleged that Kamalnath led government was based on corruption. Taking at dig at his old party turncoat Scindia said that Congress party is in self-quarantine and it is now only active on Twitter.
While welcoming Scindia, Ratlam city MLA Chetanya Kashyap said that every worker of BJP is aware about the affection of Rajmata Scindia towards party people. Jyotiraditya has created history by ending misgovernance in the state.
After Scindia came into BJP's fold, CM Chouhan has again sped up the development of the state, he added. Ministers Tulsi Silawat, Rajvardhan Singh Dattigaon, O P S Bhadoriya, MP Guman Singh Damor,MLA Rajendra Pandey, Dilip Makwana and other BJP leaders were present.
