Guna: MP of Guna-Shivpuri-Ashoknagar parliamentary constituency Dr KP Yadav met Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia in New Delhi on Friday.
Yadav congratulated him on becoming a minister and asked him to start regular air services in Guna of his parliamentary constituency.
MP Dr KP Yadav said that since he became an MP, he has made efforts so that the locals can get the facility of air services in Guna. In the past, he had also made a demand to the then Union Minister Hardeep Puri regarding regular air service in Guna and the minister had written to him that soon regular air service will start in Guna.
Scindia assured to make meaningful efforts in this direction soon. Yadav defeated Congress candidate Jyotiraditya Scindia by more than one lakh votes as a candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party in the last Lok Sabha elections.
Demand for airport in Ratlam
Ratlam: Ratlam needs an airport on the priority basis in view of present requirements and for future development. Banjali situated air strip should be developed as Airport in Ratlam , demanded Ratlam city MLA Chetanya Kashyap while meeting Union Minister of Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya Scindia in New Delhi the other day. Kashyap congratulated Scindia on becoming Union Minister of Civil Aviation department.
Kashyap drew attention of Union Minister Scindia that new investment zone will emerge in 1,800 hectares near Ratlam which will require airport facility for speedy growth. Scindia said that with the coordination of state government the work of Airport at Ratlam in place of Banjali Air strip will be carried out.
