Madhya Pradesh BJP MLA Ajay Vishnoi on Friday said he had written to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan demanding that school infrastructure and computers skills of teachers be improved before the state adopts the Centre's recently-announced education policy.
Speaking to reporters, the Patan MLA said he had also written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking the setting up of a "central textbook regulatory and certificate board" to ensure students get quality textbooks with uniform content across the country.
"Improving infrastructure in government schools, mainly in MP's rural areas, and giving training to teachers on the latest computer technology are measures the state must take before adopting the new education policy," he said.
