Khargone (Madhya Pradesh): Maharishi Vidya Mandir observed the foundation day of Sahastra Shirsha Devi Mandal, a branch of Vishwa Shanti Andolan which was established by saint Mahesh Yogi.
On this occasion, school management organised a Garba competition among seniors and juniors of four houses of the school as well and a havan was also arranged.
The programme began with the worshipping of Maa Durga. Vashishta house secured first position and Narayan house bagged second position in senior category while Narayan house secured first position and Vashishta house came in second position in junior category.
Principal Renu Rai encouraged the attendees of the event to meditate for 20 minutes and expressed gratitude towards dignitaries for attending the event.
The programme was presided over by Anita Malviya and others. Parents of students and teaching staff were present in an overwhelming number.
