Dhar (Madhya Pradesh): A time-limit meeting was held by district collector Dr Pankaj Jain here at the Collectorate wherein he directed concerned officials to take strict action against illegal miners, encroachers, and colonisers in the district.
According to the information received, the collector, during the TL meeting asked CMHO to ensure an adequate health facility in Arogyam Bhawan. He asked SDM, CMO and CEO to remain vigilant and take steps to contain waterlogging in rain-affected areas. All preparations in wake of ìHar Ghar Tirangaî should be promptly completed to mark celebrations for Indiaís 75th year of Independence.
Stern action should be taken on the manufacture, import, storage, distribution, sale and†use of polystyrene in rural areas as well. Further, he asked officials to keep a regular check on illegal activities and take stern action in case of illicit activities or encroachment on government land.
During the meeting, chief executive Officer (District Panchayat) KL Meena, additional collector Shringaar Srivastava and other concerned district officials were also present. Collector Jain has also issued orders to appoint a total of 82 assistant returning officers across all development blocks, and district panchayat for the tabulation of votes of Panchayat, Janpad Panchayat and district panchayat members and official declaration of election results.
