Dhar: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan hailed the Crisis Management Committee (CMC) in a discussion with the members of CMC of the districts through video conference on Monday.

The CM said, “I thank the Crisis Management Committee of the districts, you have done a wonderful job. We have controlled the corona infection from the grassroots level, Panchayat level, Block and District Crisis Management Committee has done a commendable job.

Now we have to be careful, our preparation is to either not let the third wave come or if it comes, then its intensity has to be reduced. For this, intensive testing should continue, there should be no shortage in it. Contact tracing of those found positive should be done so that the infection can be prevented from progressing. Those found positive have to be isolated, taken to the Covid Care Centres. With this, the Kill Corona campaign should also be continued, he added.

The MP Darbar suggested that doctors, nurses and support staff should be kept regular now. They will help a lot in the third wave of Covid. Vaccine quota should be increased. Information about the vaccine dosage should be given a week or four days in advance, so that people can be informed according to the capacity so that they do not face any problem. Guidelines should be prepared from the state level for how arrangements will be made for all the upcoming festivals.

Members of the committee including MP Chhatar Singh Darbar, MLA Neena Verma, Rajiv Yadav, collector Alok Kumar Singh, superintendent of police Aditya Pratap Singh, district panchayat CEO Ashish Vashisht, ADM Saloni Sidana, SDM Divya Patel, city magistrate Shivangi Joshi and others attended the meeting.
