Madhya Pradesh: Asha, Usha and Sahyoginis demand increase in salaries

SANAWAD (KHARGONE DISTRICT): Asha, Usha and Sahyogini workers working under the National Health Mission (NHM) submitted a memorandum to MLA Sachin Birla in village Bedia on Tuesday.

The memorandum was read out by the union's block president Rekha Sanyar. The memorandum states that Asha, Usha and Sahyogini workers have been working under NHM since 2005. Even during the Corona transition period, the workers have fought against corona by risking their lives. Therefore, now both the salary and status of the workers should be increased.

MLA Birla assured that Asha, Usha and Sahyogini would discuss the demands of the Sangh with the Chief Minister and raise questions in the Vidhan Sabha.

Activists Kshama Rathore, Jyoti Panwar, Pramila Karma, Urmila Bhavel and others were present.
