Madhya Pradesh: 2 killed as tractor trolley overturns in Neemuch

NEEMUCH: Two persons were killed after a tractor trolley loaded with stones overturned on Nayagaon highway in Neemuch district on Wednesday at around 11.30 pm.

Nayagaon police outpost in-charge sub-inspector Shiv Raghuvanshi said that the deceased are identified as Raju, 38, son of Bhagwan Bhoi, a resident of Bhoikheda, Chittorgarh, Rajasthan and driver Narayan Teli, 29, a resident of Kapasan, Chittorgarh, Rajasthan.

2 booked for smuggling 14.7 kg poppy husk

NEEMUCH: Jeeran police have arrested two accused for smuggling 14,700 grams of poppy husk on Wednesday.

Cops led by Station In-charge Rajesh Singh Chouhan booked the suspects and poppy husk worth Rs 29,000 from them.

Accused Pappuram Vishnoi, 40, runs a food outlet- Shivshakti Dhaba near Sagargram village while another accused Chhotu Ram Jat, 20, runs another food outlet Veer Tejaji Dhaba. They have been booked under section 8/15 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. Virendra Singh Bisen, constable Vivek Dhangar, constable Lokendra Singh and others cops were part of action.
