Madhya Pradesh: 13 motorcycles recovered in Guna, two held

Guna: Acting on a tip-off the cops recovered 13 stolen motorcycles from two accused belonging to the Pardi community on Monday.

While busting illicit liquor business, near the water tank in Haddimill, the Guna Kotwali police arrested one Mohil son of Kewal Pardi resident of village Bilakhedi. He was using a Splendor motorcycle sans number plate to transport 65 litres of illicit liquor. He was booked under Excise Act.

The cops also arrested and booked Soldier son of Nehar Singh Pardi, a resident of village Muradpur with a bike without registration plate along with 55 litres of illicit liquor.

Both accused were not able to furnish any documents of bikes and on further interrogation they confessed that the bikes were stolen. They revealed the whereabouts of 13 motorcycles, cops added.
