LIC officer murder: Cops still groping in dark

Indore: Police are still clueless about the miscreant/s who killed LIC officer Yatin Pise and injured another person in Dwarkapuri area. Possibly, the accused had also stabbed a pharma company employee after killing a man. Police also recovered CCTV grabs of the shop where the accused had reached chasing a person on the day of the incident.

LIC officer Yatin Pise of Suryadev Nagar was stabbed to death near an ATM booth in Dwarkapuri area on Wednesday. After stabbing Pise, the miscreant attacked a man named Rajesh with the motive of robbery. The third person who was walking while talking over phone was also chased by the accused. However, the youth ran and saved himself after he entered a shop.
Crime branch and local police managed to identify the youth and are collecting information from him about the incident.

He said he informed the police that he was taking a walk when the miscreant with a knife was seen. He tried to snatch his mobile phone but the youth fled the scene. He was chased by the miscreant for about a half kilometer. Youth saved himself after entering a shop where a woman was present. The miscreant later fled the scene after the woman cried for help.

Over a dozen CCTVs examined

Police teams raided several places in the search of the accused but he could not be traced even after two days of the incident. More than a dozen CCTVs have been examined by the police and the accused has been captured in three places. The CCTV grabs of the woman’s shop has also been examined by the cops.

In this footage, the miscreant’s face has been caught clearly. Police also recovered CCTV footage from near Navneet Garden under Annapurna police station jurisdiction where two miscreants had stabbed a pharma company employee while attempt to snatch his mobile phone. The appearance of a miscreant was same as the killer.
