Indore : The MY Hospital administration has served a notice to Laxmi Fumigation and Pest Control, responsible for pest and rodent control in the hospital for not giving proper maintenance services. The hospital administration also stopped payment of the company as the work of attack phase is not yet completed.
According to sources, the LFPL officials sent a letter to the hospital administration for paying maintenance charges for rodent and pest control in the hospital for last four months.
“A few days ago, the LFPL officials asked the hospital to pay the maintenance amount of four months as they have completed the attack phase and started the maintenance,” sources said.
However, the hospital administration showed the reality of maintenance to the LFPL officials and told them that no payment would be made before completion of the work.
“In the notice issued by the hospital administration, it was stated that the LFPL has failed to provide maintenance service as not a single official of the company was present in the hospital, and no maintenance was done by them,” sources added.
The hospital administration also stated that no payment would be made to the company before completion of the work.
“We have received a letter from the LFPL officials for making payment of maintenance work. We have informed them that the payment will be made only after the completion of the work as fumigation of the first floor, ground floor and basement is still to complete,” Superintendent of MY Hospital Dr AD Bhatnagar said.
He further said that even the attack phase is not yet completed so there is no question of paying for maintenance. ”We have paid 65 percent of the attack phase and will pay the rest only after completion of work,” Dr Bhatnagar added.
