Indore: Decide what your life to be a game of chess or a game of snakes and ladders. In game of chess you decide your moves where as in snakes and ladders the dice decides what you will do. Same is with life we need to take a call on what we expect from it, said Sudhanshu Pandit Vice President of Human Resources, at Symantec India who gave a very interactive presentation on what success is and how we can achieve it at Swami Vivekanand college of Engineering Khandwa road, Indore who hosted a corporate event “Focus on Corporate Challenges of meeting global demands” on Saturday.

This event was an amalgamation of experience with talent, young with seasoned, the achievers and strivers Sunil Kashikar  Associate VP-RMG & Recruitment for Zensar Technologies Ltd, Pune,  Dinesh Gupta – Resource Management IBM Global Business Services,  Savita Shetty is Group Manager –HR with WNS Global Services, Jashan Joshi Talent Acquisition Expert- ZS Associates, Sudhanshu Pandit Vice President of Human Resources, at Symantec India, Parag Mehta Director –Head of Work force Management with Atos , Maitreyee Mitra-Syal head people function at Saba Software,  Roopali Sundar the Head -HR for India Region at Avaya India  were present for the event.

The beginning of the event was marked by the auspicious Saraswati Vandana and lighting of traditional lamp. The event was planned with the idea of bridging the gap between corporate world and academia, to understand where and how students can seek fruitful opportunities incorporates and also to have a deeper insight into ways of nurturing technocrats for the outside competitive world.

Mr Kripa Shankar Singh Training and placement officer emphasized the need to such common platforms where the industry can interact with the students and vice versa. The program was successfully conducted under the able guidance of Mr. Amresh Dubey Group Director, SVGI.

Students of SVCE are palced in companies like Cognizant, HSBC, LnT Infotech etc. the offer letters to these students were also distributed during this event.
