Indore: Some lawyers and youths starting fighting after a verbal dispute on Monday on the premises of collectorate. Both the groups alleged thrashing by the other. Police have filed a case against the youths, on the complaint of a lawyer. Police also received a written complaint from the youths’ group.

According to S-I Lalusingh Bhuria of Ravji Bazar police station, lawyer Ramarao Umap, a resident of Barah Bhai locality, complained police that on Monday evening when he was returning home after finishing his work, he saw three youths – Sunny, Honey and one more – were abusing each other. When, some lawyers present there, tried to stop the youths for use of abusive language, the youths began to quarrel with the lawyers too and they even began to beat the lawyers.

The complainant also alleged that the youths threw stones at the lawyers, because of which some lawyers were injured. However, S-I Bhuria further said that in the incident, youths Sunny and Honey were also injured. According to Sunny, he has nothing to do with the lawyers involved in this incident.

Sunny further said that, he came to the collectorate to meet Santosh. During their meeting on some contentious issue, Santosh began to use abusive language and he (Sunny) slapped Santosh. At the same time, the lawyer reached there and began to beat the youths. Thus, Sunny and Honey have also complained against the lawyers. Police have received their written complaint, but it will be registered only after preliminary inquiry.
