Indore : The Khajrana Police have registered a case against five accused for land grabbing and arrested three of them. A search is on to apprehend the absconding two accused.
According to Arvind Singh Tiwari, TI, Khajrana police station, the matter relates to 30,000 square feet land located at Khasra No 126, 125/1 in village Khajrana that valued in crores.
The land belonged to Gani Patel and he sold the land to Yusuf Shah and Yunus Khan. The duo in turn sold the land to Rajesh Jalodiya, a resident of village Beesakhedi in Sanwer Block.
After registering the title deed, Rajesh started construction at the site. But Gani Patel’s son Panna and one Islam Patel along with Pramod, Rajkumar and Hemant came over and tried to stop the work.
Rajesh showed them the title deed whereupon the five demanded Rs 50,000 and when Rajesh refused they started to beat him up. Police were called and they nabbed three of the accused while two managed to escape.
Following a complaint filed by Rajesh, the police registered case against Panna Patel and Islam Patel, both residents of Khajrana, Pramod Bhadoria (38), a resident of New Gouri Nagar, Rajkumar Khushwah, a resident of Gouri Nagar and Hemant Yadav (34), a resident of Prime City Sukhliya under Sections 327, 294, 506 and 34 of the IPC.
Pramod, Rajkumar and Hemant have already been arrested while a search is on for Panna and Islam Patel.
