Jhabua (Madhya Pradesh): Member of Parliament Guman Singh Damor from Ratlam - Jhabua parliamentary constituency took a jibe at senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh and the Congress party over his recent controversial remark on revocation of Article 370.

Replying to media queries during a programme organised here on Friday morning, Damor said that Congress leader Divijaya Singh has become irrelevant in this country as he makes irresponsible comments and therefore nobody takes him seriously.

Recently, former chief minister Singh was in the eye of the storm over his comment to a Pakistani journalist that his party will relook into scrapping of Article 370 if it came to power. Several BJP leaders have attacked Singh on Twitter.

Many BJP leaders slammed former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, as #Article370 trended on social media.

To a query on Congress allegations over alleged scam in Ayodhya temple land purchase, Damor said “it is just to stay in the media”. Citing Congress as sinking ship, BJP MP said, “Congress will become extinct very soon”.

Recently, Congress alleged that scams are happening by taking donations in the name of Lord Ram. Party sought a Supreme Court-monitored probe into allegations of irregularity in the purchase of land at Ayodhya by Ram temple trust.
