Indore : The City Congress once again failed to come up with a final list of candidates for the Indore civic body polls till the last day of filling nomination (Tuesday).
Meanwhile, several unofficial lists were making the round. But, senior Congress leaders were not ready to accept any on of them as final list.
Sources said that a list containing 81 names doing round in certain circle while another with 48 member list is taking round on several messaging app till the last day of nominations. When contacted, City Congress party spokesperson Narendra Saluja refused to have released any official list. If sources are to be believed then senior party leaders including Shobha Ojha and others would be reaching Bhopal by Tuesday evening. It was said that all decisions would be taken by the party’s Bhopal office. Also, the candidates would now just need to fill up the Form B. Meanwhile, the Congress’ mayor candidate Archana Jaiswal was congratulated by BJP city president Kailash Sharma. Also, she reached the Ahilya Pratima to take blessing from her for the upcoming civic body polls.
