Indore : State’s wing of Indian Pharmaceutical Association and Pharmatechnology Index is organising ‘IPA Conclave and Pharmatech Expo 2015’ from October 30.
In the three-day conference, more than 3000 delegates from the Asia Pacific Region will participate and share about the advancements in the pharmaceutical sectors across the globe.
The conclave will be inaugurated by the Deputy Drug Controller of West Zone Dr K Bangaru and President of IPA’s main branch Dr Rao VSV Wadlamundi.
Vice-President of IPA Dr Subhash Mandal said, “More than 150 druggist and chemists were also trained during the conference to provide full dose of treatment to TB patients. The conference will not influence laymen directly but opportunities for the chemists and students will indirectly prove beneficial to society.”
He said that they will also promote the ‘Make In India’ campaign through the expo as various companies will display their machines and products in it.
Organising Chairman Ramesh Shah said, “50 percent import of medicines in USA is from India and we are having highest number of companies having USA Food and Drug Administration approval across the world, even more than USA.”
He said that the pharma sector is booming and the conclave will help students and stakeholders to find new opportunities to lead the sector ahead.
