INDORE : Showing highhandedness, workers of Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) on Tuesday threw away carts selling fruits on AB Road near Press Complex and faced the wrath of people for their insensitivity.
The matter escalated when a member of IMC team, that reached the spot in the afternoon, threw away fruits being sold by an elderly. In the scuffle, the elderly fruitseller fell on the ground and his wife started wailing. She cornered the IMC employee reponsible for the attack, following which a crowd gathered in her support. Police ruhsed to the spot before violence could break out.
