Indore: Irate by his sudden transfer from Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College to other government medical college, one of the five faculty members, who was transferred to other colleges, have dashed off a letter to the Medical Council of India on Sunday for revoking the transfer orders. The faculty member has mentioned in his letter that he has been transferred to other medical college due to the pending inspection of the apex regulator but he has already been counted twice in MGM Medical College.

As per the letter dashed off by the faculty member to the secretary of MCI, “I am already been counted by the MCI during the inspection of head count for under graduate seats in MGM Medical College in 2018. Moreover, I was also counted twice during the inspection of PG seats in the department but Dean of MGM Medical College has transferred me to another medical college due to pending MCI inspection.”

The faculty member also mentioned that MCI will not count him as a faculty of any other medical college and his transfer orders should be revoked. “If my orders are not revoked then Dean of MGM Medical College will face consequences and MCI would be the party of the litigation in the court,” the faculty member wrote.
