Indore: A youth was stabbed and injured by four persons over an old rivalry in Lasudia area on Thursday night. The accused managed to flee leaving the victim injured. According to police, the incident took place in Scheme Number 136. Mangesh Akolkar of Dindayal Upadhyay Nagar lodged a complaint that he was standing near water tank in Sukhliya when his cousin brother Shashikant was going with his friend Aditya on a scooter.
Shashikant said he was stopped by accused Arpit Ghate, Chironji, Anshul and Harsh and two of them stabbed him using a knife. After attacking him, accused managed to flee after which he informed his friend who took him to hospital. Shashikant had an argument with the accused over some issue few days ago and they attacked the victim to take revenge.
The police have registered a case against the accused and started an investigation.
