Indore: A girl returning home from the gym was allegedly molested by a youth in Banganga area on Thursday. The accused also tried to abduct her. According to Banganga police station staff, girl lodged a complaint that accused Lucky Kaithwas of Bhagirathpura molested her in Bhagirathpura when she was on way home from gym.
The accused also tried to abduct her in his auto rickshaw but she cried for help and local residents gathered there after which accused fled. He also threatened her with dire consequences before fleeing. A case under Sections 354, 341, 506 of IPC was registered against the accused.
Further investigation is underway. In another incident, a girl was eve teased by a person named Gajendra in Sadar Bazaar on Thursday. Girl stated in her complaint that accused held her hand with bad intention and used abusive language when she objected. The police have started search for accused.
