Indore: Youth held for grocery shop theft

A youth was arrested for stealing goods from a shop in Lasudia area on Friday. The incident was captured by CCTV and the police had circulated the sketch of the accused.  According to the police, the theft incident happened at a grocery shop owned by Jitendra Pathak in New Loha Mandi area a few days ago. Pathak was shocked to see the twisted shutter of his shop. He entered the work place and found goods in complete disarray.

He immediately informed the police. Goods worth around Rs 50,000 was stolen from the shop. He had given CCTVs grabs to the police in. following this, a person was captured. Search is on for the remaining accused. On Friday , police arrested accused Pradeep of Scheme Number 78 after a tip-off. Pradeep was earlier arrested for supplying illicit liquor. The stolen goods were recovered from him.
