Indore: A 25-year-old youth was found hanging while a woman was lying unconscious on the floor in Aerodrome area on Wednesday evening.
She was rushed to a hospital where she died during treatment. The incident occurred after the youth entered her house. However, her family members were unaware about the youth.
Police have sent the body for post mortem. According to the police, deceased Tarun Chaudhary (25) of Bengali Colony was found hanging in the house of Varsha Rajput (20) in Nagin Nagar around 7 pm. Varsha’s landlord informed the cops about it.
Local people informed her mother and rushed Varsha to hospital as she was unconscious but it's too late.
Aerodrome police station incharge Ashok Patidar said that when he visited the crime scene, he found a body hanging with the ceiling fan. Police identified him as Tarun on the basis of his Aadhaar card recovered from his pocket.
Police had no clue about the death of woman as she was found unconscious on the floor. Scratch marks were found on her neck so it is believed that Tarun had an altercation with Varsha when she tried to hang self but Tarun pulled her and he hanged himself.
It is also believed that after the argument, Tarun strangulated her and later he committed suicide. The exact reason behind Varsha’s death could be established only after the autopsy report. The autopsy report of Tarun is also awaited.
