A youth and his cousin were stabbed by a criminal over an old rivalry in Aerodrome area on Wednesday. The complainant was going home when the accused stopped him and started an argument. According to the police, Aerodrome resident Satish lodged a complaint that he was returning home from his dance classes when accused Ajay Sugandhi used abusive language against him in Durga Nagar.
Satish warned him against using such words and the enraged accused flashed a knife and attacked him. Satish’s cousin Ravi Balla, who was passing through the area, tried to intervene when he was also attacked. The accused fled the scene. The accused has been booked under the relevant section and he is being searched by the police.
Two booked for stabbing youth
A 29-year-old youth was stabbed by two persons over a petty issue in Annapurna area on Wednesday. Police booked the accused and started a search for them. According to the police, Bairathi Colony resident Vishal has lodged a complaint that he was returning home from when he was stopped by Irshad Lala and his accomplice in Madhuban Colony.
They started arguing with Vishal alleging that h e is an informer of police. The situation turned intense and one of the accused stabbed him using a knife and both the accused managed to flee. The people of the area informed the police and rushed Vishal to the hospital.
