Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Police have registered a case against a woman for allegedly pouring hot milk on her husband following an argument in Bhanwarkuan area on Saturday.
The woman allegedly doubted her husband’s character and made phone calls to him several times when he would be out of the house. The police are investigating the case.
Bhanwarkuan police station in charge Santosh Kumar Dudhi said Vishnupuri Colony resident Shyam Verma has lodged a complaint in which he said that he is a property dealer.
His wife Ruchi doubts his character and makes phone calls to him many times when he is out of the house. Though he talked to wife and requested her to trust him, she was not convinced.
On May 21, 2021, Verma again told her not to make phone calls without any reason. Enraged, she went inside the kitchen and took vessel filled with hot milk and poured it on her husband. As a result, he received burn injuries on hands, chest, mouth and neck.
After hearing him scream, Verma’s mother and brother intervened. Then, Verma’s wife allegedly threatened him with dire consequences. According to complainant, his wife had allegedly beaten him a few days ago but the matter was resolved as it was a family issue.
