Indore: A woman doctor was allegedly harassed and threatened by a man outside her clinic in Palda area under Azad Nagar police station on Wednesday. A video went viral on social media putting more allegations on accused.
Police said a woman doctor running a dispensary allegedly accused Kalu Prajapat of harassing her and threatening her. She stated in her complaint that on Wednesday night Kalu came outside her clinic and asked her to vacate the premises. When she denied, he misbehaved with her and started abusing her.
The clinic building belongs to Kalu’s family. They have rented a room in the building to the woman doctor. According to police, the woman had filed a robbery complaint against an unidentified person few days back. She stated that somebody has entered inside her dispensary at night and stole cash from there. She allegedly suspected Kalu and his brother behind this robbery.
A video also went viral of a masked woman in connection with this case. In the video, an unidentified woman, which is assumed to be a lady doctor is seen alleging that accused Kalu threatened to rape her as well as other female patients present inside the clinic at that time.
Police said there is no such proof that video is made by the same woman. Her statements in the video will be checked and verified, police said.
