Indore: A woman and her daughter were allegedly beaten up by her husband over a petty issue in Chandan Nagar on Saturday. Aamwala Road resident Farida was assaulted by her husband Mohammad Shadik when she picked up a call on his mobile phone. He started abusing her when she tried to stop him.

He physically assaulted her with a wooden stick. When her daughter arrived to save her Shadik assaulted her as well and threatened to kill them.

Youth beaten up

A young boy was beaten up by a man following argument in Dwarkapuri area on Saturday. The accused also damaged his bike. According to police, Kailash, a resident of Rishi Palace Colony, was assaulted by the accused named Bunty when he had heated argument with him over some issue.

Bunty later abused him and when Kailash tried to stop him, he assaulted him with a wooden stick. Accused also damaged his bike and he also beat his sister-in-law when she intervened.

Woman assaulted by in-laws

A woman was allegedly beaten up by her in-laws because she wanted to keep the child with her. Sonu Verma, resident of Rajeev Nagar, was assaulted by her brother-in-law Sachin Verma and her mother-in-law LeelaVerma.

Sonu wanted to take her son home but her mother-in-law pushed her out of the house. She filed a complaint in Aerodrome police station.
