The students of class X attempting Central Board of Secondary Education Hindi examination felt relaxed and happy on Tuesday. Hindi course A and course B examination were conducted from 10 am to 1 pm in the city.
Almost all students gave course B exam, as it is easier. What baffled students was an out of syllabus question in set – 3, carrying 5 marks. Analysing the paper, expert Meena Naik said, “It was quite a balanced paper with enough tough questions to challenge students and not too many to scare them off.” She added that only difficult section was grammar. “The mistake in set – 3 confused students receiving the set but it happens and students managed to deal with it,” Meena added.
Free Pres talked to students after the examination. Excerpts

Students Speak

“The paper was fun and easy. Grammar section was little tough but I managed. I am glad that we are halfway done with exams especially the difficult papers like science and mathematics. I am grateful that Hindi paper was not difficult.”
Palash Karamchandani

“The paper was lengthy but I managed to complete on time. It was an average paper with some tough section and some easy ones. I am glad that paper is over and I can hope to get good marks.”
Chirag Jain

“I did not get set – 3, which had an out of syllabus question of grammar of 5 marks. I am happy on one end that it did not make me anxious, but I won’t get any compensatory marks either. Grammar section was little tough compared to other sections.”
Saraj Gandhi

“I am happy that paper is over and it was easy. It is time for us to celebrate and take a break before next exam. Now, we have only English and social science exams left, which I hope will be easier.”
