Indore: Two brothers from UP, who were booked by Lasudia police station staff for raping a Bhajan singer, could not be arrested till Sunday night. It is believed the accused fled the city. However, a search is on to locate them.  Lasudia police station in-charge Santosh Dudhi said a 26-year-old bhajan singer has lodged a complaint that she met accused Ritesh Dixit two years ago and was in a relationship with him and was staying with his family in Lasudia area for a few months. She alleged that Ritesh raped her on the pretext of marriage. She, several times, told him to make marry her but he ignored her pleas. The victim hails from Nagpur and she is a bhajan singer with Akashwani in the city.

Once she was alone at home when Ritesh’s brother Amit threatened her and raped her. She also reported the matter to Ritesh but he and Amit threatened her of dire consequences and kicked her out from their house. The accused hails from UP and are living in the city for the past few years.  Police raided many places in the search of the accused on Saturday night but later came to know that the duo have fled the city.

Minor raped in garage
A 17-year-old girl was raped by a person at his garage in Hira Nagar area on Saturday. The girl stated in her complaint that accused Neeraj lured her and took her to his garage where he raped her. The girl tried to cry for help when accused threatened her. The police have registered a case under rape section and POCSO against the accused. Man booked for raping girl

Rau police booked a man for raping a girl and threatening her to go for an abortion on Saturday.  Police said that accused Anil Gasar of CAT Road was booked on the complaint of Lasudia area resident girl. Victim informed the police that she was raped by one Anil a few months ago due to which she had conceived.  Anil refused to marry her and is forcing her to go in for an abortion. She refused and was being threatened.
