Dewas: Two persons allegedly committed suicide at separate places, while two persons were injured in a dispute reported in the district in last 24 hours.

According to Dewas Police, 20-year-old Kanha of Singawada village was declared dead on arrival at the district hospital on Monday night. Doctors claimed the victim had consumed some poisonous substances. The police registered a case in the matter and began investigation.

In another incident, Nemawar Police recovered the body of one 95-year-old person in Narmada river near Bajwada village. Deceased identified as Avtar Jaat of Ajnas was missing since February 12 and his family members had lodged a missing complaint at Khategaon police station on February 13. The police handed over the body to the family members after completing the formalities.

In the third incident, two persons were injured following a dispute during a wedding procession here at Mandi Dharmshala on Sunday night. Kotwali Police said the dispute erupted due to an old rivalry between two groups.
