Indore: Two caught with cannabis after long chase

Indore: Police have caught two persons carrying cannabis on scooter after a long chase in MIG area on Wednesday. Additional Superintendent of Police Shailendra Singh Chouhan said cannabis that weighed 2 kilograms has been recovered. The accused have been identified as Ritik, 18, resident of Somnath ki Nayi Chawl and Avinash, 32, resident of Sarvhara Nagar. During questioning, it was revealed that accused had brought cannabis from Barwah district from a person named Pathan for Chachi living in Choti Gwaltoli. They were booked under relevant sections of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Further investigation is underway.
