Indore: Police booked two persons, including a woman, for allegedly trying to strangle a woman in Banganga area on Saturday. The woman was preparing food when a youth enterd her house and tried to strangle her using a piece of rope. According to police, the incident took place in Jakhiya village.

Kawaljeet Kaur has lodged a complaint that she was preparing food at home around 8.30am when a youth named Vicky of the area entered her house and tried to strangle her using a piece of rope. When she cried for help, the accused fled from the spot.

Vicky’s aunty Rani, who was standing outside the house threatened Kawaljeet when she reported the matter to her. The police have registered a case against Vicky and Rani under various sections of the IPC and stared further investigation.
