Indore: On the last day of campaigning in Indore, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan here on Friday attacked Kamal Nath government in the state for power outage saying that time has come for people to purchase inverters. “Undeclared power cuts have become a routine since Congress government came to power in the state. During previous Congress government also, power cuts was a major problem in the state and the same has returned. It’s a Déjà vu. Everybody should purchase inverters now,” said Chouhan during a roadshow of BJP candidate Shankar Lalwani.
The former chief minister also attacked Nath government for not waving off farm loans up to Rs2 lakh as promised during assembly elections and for discontinuing public welfare schemes started by his government. Prime Minister Narendra Modi as man for development, Chouhan appealed to people to vote for him on May 19. Earlier, BJP candidate Shankar Lalwani along with Indore Mayor Malini Gaud and others started roadshow from Narsingh Bazaar in Indore-4 assembly constituency around 3pm. Chouhan joined the roadshow at Sarafa at 5.05pm. He stated that Indore-4, considered to be Ayodhya of the city, is bastion of BJP and that they are expecting that voters of this segment would give more votes to the party than assembly elections.
