Indore: Police booked a man for molesting a 32-year-old woman in Khudel area on late Monday night. The accused is absconding. According to police, the victim alleged that she went to pick vegetables at the farm of accused Makhan on Sunday. While she was taking the vegetables accused Makhan approached and started talking to her.

The accused then tried to touch the victim. On stopping, the accused abused and molested the victim. As the victim raised an alarm, her husband came running and tried to stop the accused. The accused thrashed the victim’s husband and threatened them with dire consequences before fleeing.

The victim reported the incident to police. The police raided Makhan’s house but he was not there. The police are searching for him. In another incident, police booked a man for molesting and thrashing a 16-year-old girl following a dispute in Banganga area on Monday. The victim alleged that girl and accused Sunil Chauhan were friends.

On Sunday night, victim was going home after dropping her friend when Sunil followed and stopped her. The accused then proposed to the victim. On refusing, the accused molested her. As the victim raised alarm, the accused thrashed her and fled. In another incident, police booked two persons for threatening and saying objectionable words to a 30-year-old woman in Tejaji Nagar on Monday. The victim alleged that accused Bhadar Patel and Azad Patel, residents of Sanwer, are threatening her over an old dispute. The police are investigating the incident.
