Three persons were arrested while they were betting in Mangliya on Saturday. Mobile phones, laptop, calculator, LCD TV and cash were recovered from them.  Additional Superintendent of Police Amarendra Singh said police received information that few persons were putting bets in a house in Choudhary Colony in Mangliya area after which a team raided a house and arrested two persons. Accused have been identified as Toni alias Ajay Baweja of MIG Colony and Nilesh Shivhare of Choudhary Colony, Mangliya.

Police recovered 12 mobile phones, a laptop, a calculator, a LCD and Rs 15,000 from the spot. Transactions worth lakhs of rupees were found.  The accused were involved in betting for long time. They were taking betting slips from people for IPL match when they were arrested. Devesh Yadav of Nanda Nagar was also arrested. Devesh had reached there to take betting money from accused. Accused Ajay worked as a bookie. Nilesh was his partner in the betting.
