Indore: Thieves target two shops in Siyaganj, suspect held

The thieves targeted two shops in Siyaganj area late on Monday night. The police and people of area nabbed a suspect while two of his accomplices fled. They are also being searched by the police.  According to police, the incident took place in Sarvanand Traders shop of Sanjay Pahuja and Shriram Tea Company in Siyaganj between 11 pm and 11.30 pm on Monday. The people heard noise of shutters when they informed the police

. Head constable Kailashchandra and constable Sher Singh from Central Kotwali who were on night patrol reached the spot immediately. After cordoning off the area, policemen and people managed to nab a youth named Shubham of Radha Govind Ka Bagicha.  However, no stolen goods were recovered from him.

Police said that possibly some goods and cash were stolen from the shops.  Accused have stolen cash and goods from a shop and reached another shop when someone informed the police and one of them has been arrested. Police have registered a case against unidentified persons and started investigation.
