Indore: It may be sweet news, sprinkled with a dash of salt to make it spicy too. Namkeen and sweet shops Shops may roll up shutters soon. In charge-Minister Tulsiram Silawat has written a letter to Collector Manish Singh in this regard. As the city is gearing up to unlock, the namkeen and sweet manufactures also demanded relief to restart the business.
A delegation of the Namkeen and Sweets makers of the city met Silawat at Residency on Wednesday. The delegation urged the Minister to allow them also to reopen their shops. However, after meeting with the delegation, Silawat wrote a letter to Collector Manish Singh along with the memorandum to consider the demand. Trade sources informed that soon permission to open the Namkeen and Sweet shops may be given by the District.
