Indore: A group of students of MA Economics along with their faculties visited Jimmy McGilligan Centre For Sustainable Development on an educational tour to learn about sustainable development and its relationship with Economics on Friday. They have been studying environmental economics in their class but they were here to know and understand the practical side.
Director of the Centre Janak Palta McGilligan gave them a o tour of the Centre to see all the Sustainable technologies including Use of Nonpolluting Clean Energy generated from Natural /renewable sources. students understood the Environmental Economics depends on making changes in human behavior and consumption patterns and making sustainable Choices for Sustainable technologies in manner to serve both of human and natural resources ,preserving indigenous and knowledge and culture.
Even the faculties appreciated that best thing could happen to them was to visit this centre to learn the lessons ,learnt from real life and so clearly understandable otherwise Sustainable Development sounds a very complex term.
