Commodore Arora conducts orientation programme at APS
Mhow : An orientation programme to the entry in Indian Navy for the students of classes XI and XII was organised at Army Public School, here on Friday.
The resource person on the occasion was Commodore Raman Arora. He was accorded a warm welcome by principal PK Tiwari and the vice principal SK Choudhary.
Arora is a specialist in navigating the warships using the stars, the planets and latest technological aids. He is currently an instructor at the Army War College at Mhow.
He enlightened the students about the various avenues available for them in Navy. The students were encouraged to take up their career in defence forces after graduation. The students were informed about the doorways to NDA-entry options, course duration and the selection criterion. Through audio visual presentation and videos, he highlighted upon the career options related to Science and Research and Archaeological Science.
On Wednesday, in this series ‘Gigyasa’ a session was conducted by Apoorva Kansal, CA in which he informed the students about the doorways to join various streams in Commerce.
