Indore: It was a happy day for students, who attempted Central Board of Secondary Education class XII board exam of Biology on Friday. In fact, many students were seen celebrating and cheering outside examination halls, as they were overjoyed by the scoring paper. With hopes of becoming a medical practitioner, biotechnologist, educator or a researcher, every student felt a good score will definitely boost their chances of getting into better educational institutes. Educators were surprised and happy to see the paper being set so easy for class XII boards.

“The paper was totally based on NCERT book with easy to understand questions,” an experienced educator Johnson Thomas said. He explained that almost all the sections and sets were similar with direct questions. “Even the questions asked in the paper were the questions suggested in revisions by teachers, so students were able to write them well,” Thomas said. He was happy that students would score well and probably get a benefit in their overall percentage. The easy biology paper might help students who had a tough time as physics was tough this year, as explained by Thomas.

Students Speak
“I was utterly delighted to see the Biology question paper. It was so easy and I was able to complete the paper well within time. The 3 mark and 5 mark questions were scoring and the questions were easy to answer with self explanatory flowcharts.”
Sakshi Joza

“Biology paper was quite easy. Questions were directly raised from NCERT and time management was not a problem. No ambiguity in questions. Straightforward reasoning based questions were common and application based questions was limited. Last year questions were also repeated.”
Pradhyumn Purohit

“I loved attempting each and every question that came in today’s question paper of class XII Biology. It was a delight to see the questions which were thoroughly revised in school. NCERT based questions were there and moreover, the questions which needed logical interpretation, were also easy to attempt.”
Ayusha Holkar

“Thorough revision of last years’ question papers and sample papers helped a lot. Questions were made in consideration to the individual differences. Few questions were tricky and few were easy. Overall paper was very good. On tracking overall balance of speed, paper was completed well in time.”
