City police on Tuesday busted a sex racket being run under the shadow of a spa in Lasudia area and arrested 13 persons, including five women from there. The spa owner was also arrested by the police and they are being questioned. Additional Superintendent of Police Shailendra Singh Chouhan said acting on a tip-off, Blue Ocean spa in Hotel Ten Eleven was raided by joint team of Lasudia and women police station staff on Tuesday evening. Eight men and five women were found in objectionable situation after which they were arrested from there.
A policeman posed as a customer who asked the lady owner of the spa about the girls. She, after fixing rate, called the girls when the policeman called his team and arrested the women involved in such crime. The girls involved in the act told police that the spa owner used to take Rs 2000 per customer and pay them only Rs 1000 per customer. The spa was operational for the last six months.
Women who were associated with beauty parlour trade and frequented the spa befriended its owner and were later involved in such shady deals. The accused were identified as Himanhu Pandey of Satna, Akash Bagdi of Ujjain, Deepak Chandel of Ujjain, Saurabh Sen of Sai Shraddha Colony, Kailash Choudhary of Saket Nagar, Kavindra Jain of Saket Nagar, Nishant Chopra of Samajwadi Indira Nagar and Pawan Jhalariya of Sanchar Nagar. They were booked under relevant sections by Lasudia police station staff and further investigation is on.
