Indore: Congress candidate Pankaj Sanghvi made all out efforts to woo businessmen in traditional markets of the city on the last day of election campaign. He targeted the area of Mayor Malini Gaud’s residence. He took out a roadshows at Sitlamata Bazaar, Kanch Mandir Road, Itwariya Bazaar, Narsingh Bazaar, Marothiya and other markets. Sanghvi was accompanied by his wife during the last day of campaign who met and appealed to people to vote in his favour.
Sanghvi was also accompanied by Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Jitu Patwari during the campaign who appealed to people to dethrone BJP in order to get rid of problems of complex GST. “BJP has broken backbone of businesses by implementing GST with multiple slabs and by introducing demonetisation. Many businesses were closed due to ill-decision of the BJP government. Now, it is high time for businessmen to show their power and dethrone the BJP,” Patwari said.
Meanwhile, reminding people of his relations with them, Sanghvi appealed to them to vote for him. He reiterated promises of Chief Minister Kamal Nath for changing the system and providing ease of doing business. Sanghvi concluded his campaign at before 5:30pm and went to election office and held a meeting with the party activists.
