Indore: BJP candidate Shankar Lalwani, who filed his nomination on April 26 in presence of Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan and BJP vice president Kailash Vijayvargiya, would repeat the exercise this time in presence of former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. “Party workers will gather at Rajwada and march towards Collectorate at 10.30 am.

The workers will be led by Chouhan. Lalwani will file nomination in presence Chouhan,” said BJP city president Gopi Nema. He stated that candidate can file nomination as many times if he thinks that some information was missed or incorrect in the previous nomination.

Earlier, Lalwani had filed nomination in presence of Mahajan and Kailash. It was because he wanted to convey a message to the Indoreans that both Tai-Bhai camps are supporting him. Moreover, he also wanted to file his nomination in presence of Chouhan as well.

As the leaders’ time schedule did not match so he first filed nominations in the presence of Tai and Bhai and now will repeat the excercise in presence of Chouhan, who played a key role in fetching ticket to Lalwani. Mahajan will also be present during the nomination filing.
