Indore: We Care For You cell of city Crime Branch arrested a school owner for allegedly harassing a woman by sending messages and forcing her into a friendship. The accused also threatened the woman when she warned the accused. Additional Superintendent of Police (crime) Amarendra Singh said a woman residing in Pardeshipura area had lodged a complaint that an unidentified person was harassing her by sending messages.

He is forcing her to strike a conversation and has also threatened her of dire consequences when she refused to speak to him. The accused was harassing the woman for about three months. After receiving a written complaint, the cell officials were instructed to investigate the matter and trace the accused. During investigation, it was found that a person named Kamal Agrawal who was sending messages to a “known” woman. He is a school owner where the victim was employed as a teacher a year ago. Kamal had reportedly obtained her mobile number from a WhatsApp group created by one of the school teachers of his school.

Later, he started sending messages and was forcing her for friendship. On Thursday, a team arrested Kamal Agrawal from his residence in Anurag Nagar area of the city and handed him over to Pardeshipura police station staff for further action.
Kamala told cell officials that he is a graduate and a school owner. The woman was employed in his school as a teacher who had left the job a year ago. He was sending messages to contact the woman. Cell officials informed that Kamal is a member of Shriram Nirashrit Ashram in the city also.
