Indore: Saplings of medicinal plants distributed at old age home

Indore: On an occasion of Family Day, Swasth Manav Manthan  organised a plant distribution campaign ‘Arogya Samprade’ at Aashtha old age home. They distributed 25 medicinal plants, including Ashwagandha, Adusa, Nayar Motha, Giloi, Loung, Tulsi, Amaltas and many others. Group president Swapnil Vyas said plants are the source of many natural substances and when it is a medicinal plant then it becomes more useful.

Group members and old age home members celebrated the Family Day by singing rhyming hymns and bhajans. Elderly persons planted sapling on the occasion. Group members also felicitated the elderly persons with roses. Fruits were also distributed. Prof Vandana Joshi, secretary RC Somani and many others were also present.
